Denison University - Herrick Hall and Burke Hall
Granville, Ohio
Herrick Hall was originally designed in the 1960’s as a Chemistry lecture hall for the University. The project required Lighting Design and Engineering services to implement a lighting renovation that would allow the Hall to be transformed into a Recital space for the School of Music. New energy efficient luminaires utilizing high output compact fluorescent lamps as well as a new dimming system were designed for the project.
Burke Hall houses the University museum as well as a black box theatre. The Public spaces within the building needed a lighting renovation to add life to the building and accommodate the social functions of the space as well as highlight additional art collections. The building has three entrances and the updated lighting will enhance the exterior facade and provide sense of entry for the public.
