Lake Erie College Arthur S. Holden Center

One of the first major projects Tec Inc. completed for the college was the engineering and lighting design for the new Arthur S. Holden Student Center.  This award winning facility replaced Lincoln Commons, a mid 1950’s vintage concrete and glass structure. The new facility features a campus bookstore, student dining, some faculty offices, and the student life center.

Lamps and luminaires were selected to enhance the architecture and color selection.  The illumination is striking, both within the building, and on the exterior - highlighting significant features at the entries.

The multi-story glass curtain walls provide dramatic views of the campus.   The illumination from within gives the spaces a feeling of transparency. The end result has won rave reviews from the students and administration.
